Roller Coasters in Sixth Grade Science
Energy is fun!! Roller coasters work on the principle of energy conservation. The goal of this project was to build a roller coaster for marbles using foam pipe insulation and to investigate how much of the gravitational potential energy of a marble at the starting point is converted to the kinetic energy of the marble at various points along the track.
Music Students Earn Their Belts With Recorders
Westhills music teacher introduced Recorder Karate that allows students to earn belts as they progress. These students have earned their white belts.
